Meet the Rodeo PVC: Our Most Advanced, Durable Packraft Yet
Back in 2015, we created the world’s first self-bailing packraft. Two years later, we followed it up with a wild little boat that laid the groundwork for what would become the Rodeo (at the time we called the Nirvana Pro). Now, after 7 years of testing, redesigning, and pushing it to the limit, we’ve built the ultimate packraft for charging rapids, surfing river waves, and dropping waterfalls.
Enter the 2025 Rodeo Self-Bailing PVC.
This latest evolution is built from ultra-tough, abrasion-resistant PVC—the same burly material used in full-size whitewater rafts. It’s stiff, holds higher PSI, and is made to take a beating.
The Rodeo sets the new standard for whitewater performance in a packraft. Period.
At the core of the Rodeo Advanced Whitewater Design (AWD) is a new 5-panel construction with increased waterline that enables fast straight-line speed and quick edge-to-edge transitions. A brand-new advanced whitewater rocker profile (AWRP) incorporates an aggressive bow design allowing you to boof bigger hits and surf steeper faces all while keeping your hair dry. The stern features an increased surface area, and increased loading, helping to clear retentive features. Lastly, the AWD Advanced Floor is a product of the hybrid-hull design and vertical I-Beam inflatable floor. This combination provides a smooth transition from primary to secondary stability and allows you aggressively carve waves and eddies.
Brand new to the packrafting world, the Rodeo features ultra tough 1000D reinforced PVCÂ All kitted out, the Rodeo weighs in at an impressive 20.2 pounds and packs down to 39×11 inches.Â
The Rodeo is rated for class V whitewater and is the most advanced packraft on the market. It’s the closet you can get in performance to a traditional hard sided whitewater kayak, but at 1/2 the weight.
The PVC Rodeo is available with or without the TiZip storage zipper. Adding the zipper allows you to store over 100 Liters of camping gear inside the air chamber of the boat for mulitday trips.
If you are new to whitewater packrafting we recommend starting with our Nirvana or Recon series packrafts. The Nirvana and Recon are more stable with a pontoon style hull and great for class 1 to 3-4 rapids. The Rodeo isn’t as stable with the curved hull design but once you get the hang of it, the Rodeo will take you for the ride of your life.
